Oral Thrust are like stubborn stains.
Milk stains look alike.
You will notice them in the inner lips of your baby and sometimes even on the tounge.
The difference between milk stains and oral thrust - oral thrust canot be removed.
It's a result of overactive bacterial growth.
Many times, this happen if the baby or the mummy is taking antibiotics.
Antibody significantly reduces the good cells in the body during the period of time of immunization.
This period, oral thrust may happen. It does not hurt the baby, but may at time be disturbing.
Especially during feeding. 90% of the time, the baby does not know or feel the thrust.
The one sure way of fixing it is via medication.
I will not state the medicine to use here as it is after all medicine and should be prescribed by the doctor.
However, i assure you that oral thrust can be resolved in 3days with proper use of the medication. The medication, if it is the same as the one i am using, will not be absorbed by the body and will pass through the body system straight out as stool or pee.
Go to your regular doctor for advise.

Issues - Throwing up of milk
You baby throws up for in my personal experience and my talks with baby doctors, for 2 reasons.
1) Baby is overfed. Feels too full. Throw up.
This is perfectly normal. There is no way you can overfeed your baby, his/her body system repels the milk once there is an overfeed. You may have missed the signs of rejection and continue feeding. So baby throws up the extra milk. Although safe, its' not good to alway allow that to happen. You have to monitor his behaviour and understand his signs as he grows.
2) Colic, wind in his stomach.
See post: Issues - Baby keeps crying for no reason

If you tried all ways and yet you are unable to pacify baby.
Your baby may be wind in the stomach (Colic).
To identify, place one finger on the baby's stomach. Use another finger to tap on the one finger.
If you hear a "empty, hollow" sound, it's wind.
It may have gathered there during feeding, breast and bottle both creates wind.
Medication is not required unless it's serious.
Always burp your baby after milk - both breast and bottle.
When the wind already gather, which is really, really common in babies, they even get wind when they cry. Can you remember any day your baby don't cry? So yup, it's really common for the baby to have wind.
So massage your babies tummy using the "I LOVE YOU" massage, it's very useful and effective.
Email me if you want to learn this.
Your baby will not sleep, will cry and may even throw up some milk in various amount with wind in the stomach. So it's always good to try to disperse the wind soonest.
For me.
- Buy Ru Yi You -
I use the ru yi you and the i love you massage and the problem can be rectified and you have a sleepy baby after feed which you will love and hug to bed.

Issues - Diaper Rash
Ohh very common.
- Buy Pigeon Compact Power (Blue Box) All Japanese Words -
Nope, not the one with the different tones.
It's not available everywhere.
But it's uber great!
It's slightly medicated. Compared to nappy rash cream, which can be oily and sticky at times,
this compact powder is dry and can be applied with a given sponge.
It's just like a compact powder for ladies who does make up.
It treats nappy rash, prevents it and gives your boy/girl a smooth butt!
If the butt have some rashes and the skin gets extra sensitive, this is the product to buy.
Other brands like "Daepolene" <- Spelling Mistake, are good. But if there is a "wound", this pigeon is super!
How do i know? Cas i faced the problem mah. Resolved within 2-3days.
Email me if you want to know exactly where to buy this.
Like i say, it's not the one with different color tones and not the one with a round tin container.

Issues - The baby is thirsty
If you baby is crying just 20 or 30mins after a feed.
Is he/she thirsty?
Well. Yes and no.
What you can do is to give them a sip of water.
SIP.
Just one or 2 suckle is enough.
And if they cry somemore, try to pacify them. Babies have extremely small stomach.
Let's take for example.
They drink 100ml of milk and can last for 2hours before the next feed.
But 1hour after the 100ml of milk, they cry and you feed them water. Being a baby, he/she drinks the water (let's say 40ml) and goes to sleep.
You think that you've done a good job.
But that's not true. You have simply filled the stomach with water. Making the baby feel full.
But water have no value. No calories, no nutrients, Zero.
The baby will now start to wake up faster. Maybe 1 hour per feed.
The stomach will keep containing "x"ml of water and the process continues and continues.
By the time you realise, you will be so tired and fed up, because you will be feeding them 100ml every hour or so, but they only will drink 50ml and then cry again for water and ... ok you know what i mean.
A nurse told me, if you are total breastfeed. There is no need to give water.
If formula, give a little after feed to clean the mouth and flush the milk all in.
Babies like to keep a mouth of milk after feed. So a sip is enough to flush it all down.
But i know it's hard not to give water at all.
But just keep it minimum. It's crazy to say no water at all. But.. we all want the best for the babies right?

Issues - Lack of sleep
If you are having a single baby, you should be free of this problem.
I have a Twin, so the problem is real.
However, some sleepyheads out there will stil face this problem with one baby.
But there is really no two way around it.
If your wife is breast feeding 100%, all you can do as a husband is to bring the baby to her, maybe give her a little massage or to bring her a drink. Don't drop dead to bed and sleep. It's so discouraging.
Another way to to teach your wife to feed lieing down. So you can sleep, mummy can sleep while baby suckle on and eventually sleep. This method is what i am adopting.
However, just make sure mummy sleeps in a 60degree angle backwards to prevent turning and hitting the baby.
Then you think, what if i am on formula. I have to wake up and make the milk and wash the bottle and sterlize it after use.
Well... that's what i do too!
While my wife breastfeed, i feed the other baby with formula. Sometimes while looking at my wife sleep cum feed the other twin. How tough can it get?!
But tell yourself, the babys' feeding pattern will soon change.
Remarkablely, after the first month, you will either see a change in feeding pattern (of course you have to try to train the baby) and they sleep more at night or ...... you get used to waking up often.
Anyway... i think there is no two way around it when it comes to sleep.
Just sleep when the baby sleep and try to catch up some during work?

Issues - How to prepare formula milk
Formula milk contains all the most advanced stuffs that you baby will ever need.
But the preparation process it very important.
Read what is behind the tin properly.
Watch how many scoops to how much water.
Similac is 60ml to 1scoop. Do not try to dilute. You are cheating your baby and they get hungry even faster!
Very importantly, do not prepare formula milk in boiling water.
Yes, the smell is great when you do that. But it kills all the nutrients and your baby end up drinking simple forumla when you paid so much for it's contents.
To make it fast for preparing milk at night, buy those plastic containers with segments so you can pour the right amount of powder in each segment for immediate use.
Another method is, if you baby feed 3 times a night and each time he/she drinks 100ml.
Make 300ml and store in the fridge. When he/she wants to drink, warm it up and it's ready to go. That's what i was told is done in hospitals. You can't expect them to keep measuring and making milk right? So once the mix is right, they can pour any any quantity without having to worry how many scoops of powder they should mix.
Another innovative idea.
